ok so today was my rotation at work to finally have saturday off...and so far it's been an awesome saturday...
don and i went to take the advanced hip hop class over at 24vii which was taught by yoori...
if u don't know who that is go look in my other blog with the 24vii pics lol....
for meeh...it was only the second time takin class there...
anyways.....so we got there and joined them as they stretched....then we got into the abs...i'm so gonna make my class do this one that she did...where u lift up ur pelvis while u crunch...woo hoo!!!....
then we got into across the floors...i'm not one to catch on quickly...and the studio was pretty filled...so as we were learning it i felt like i kept getting in peoples way cuz i wasn't goin across...lol...whatta loser yeah?!?!?!
then we formed 3 lines to go across the floor and i was like...ok...i don't got it...i'm gonna scoot my big ol' ass to the back line so i can follow the people in front and concentrate more on choreography then on people watching meeh mess up...lol...
it didn't help...i still couldn't get it and i still felt like an ass jus standing there at some points...lol...
but oh well...i tried to make the best of it and said to myself...well...i already made a complete fool of myself in front of everybody...so i can only go up from here...so i started not to care about other things as much and focused more on choreography...
well...as usual i didn't pick it up quickly like everyone else...but after doin it over and over i eventually got it down...a few more times i prolly woulda been able to add more of my flavah to it...lol...but at that point i didn't want to mess myself up...lol...doin the combo without stopping was a big enough accomplishment for meeh...
so far takin class at 24vii has always been an awesome experience for meeh...i guess espcially for meeh since i can't catch it as quick as others who are a lil more experienced or those who are more used to yoori's choreography...it really humbles meeh and makes meeh strive for more...and of course cuz i love yoori's choreography....
so whenever i'm off on saturdays and i have no other obligations...u'll find meeh there in the afternoon...trying not to make a fool outta myself....keyword:trying...lol...
i'm kinda dissapointed at one thing though...i totally forgot to ask about the "creation" dvd...ugh...i'm gonna beat myself up about it now...lol....but yeah...i really wanna hurry up and get one before they run out again...
